It was widely reported recently that the president had been admitted to hospital for tests for a persistent sore throat. After undergoing a variety of tests, including a CT scan, the president was diagnosed with acid reflux.

He was reported to have given up smoking some time ago, and he is plainly not overweight, so speculation was rife as to the cause of the problem. Eating red meat was one publication’s answer…

No mention was made of the treatment prescribed, nor how to get rid of acid reflux, but look out for that tell tale pack of Tums bulging from his jacket pocket!

Thankfully, he remained unsedated during the procedures, and “remained in authority” during his quick hospital visit.
